Vision and mission
Vision
To build a disciplined, strategically positioned investment collective that generates sustainable wealth and long-term financial growth for its members.
Mission
Leverage collective capital through structured, research-backed investments. Uphold transparency, accountability and financial discipline. Foster professionalism in every financial and operational decision.
Constitution, Article 2 (Strategic Intent).
Membership stays small, on purpose
Membership is capped at fifteen members and limited to Strathmore School alumni from the Class of 2022: people who already knew and trusted each other before any money moved. That's a deliberate trade-off. It keeps the group small enough to run on real trust and monthly meetings, not a membership drive. A member who stops contributing for six consecutive months is automatically removed, so the roster reflects who's actually still in, not who joined once.
Constitution, Article 3.1 (Eligibility) and Article 3.4 (Inactivity Policy).
A real, dated record
- 2023
Fifteen classmates start contributing
Classmates from Strathmore School's Class of 2022 agree to pool a monthly contribution into a shared account, the start of what became TBCA.
- 2026
A written constitution, revised
The group's governance, financial controls, loan and investment policy are set down in writing and revised. Not an informal understanding between friends: a document every member has agreed to.
- Sep 2026
The club's own digital record goes live
Contributions, loans, minutes and investments move from scattered screenshots and WhatsApp threads into one accountable record every member can check.
- Today
Past KSh 500,000, still compounding
25 meetings held, 15 members current, and a portfolio built one monthly contribution at a time.
